VOICE BROADCASTING WITHOUT VOICE OVER
IP
Our system does not use Voice Over IP (VoIP).
Why is this important? VoiP is an amazing technology, however using
VoiP in a voice broadcast application can have several negative
effects.
Many VoiP service providers like Level 3 Communications impose
a 30 second or 60 second minimum per connected call. What this means
is a 6 second call is billed as a 30 second call. That means you
pay 5 times or 500% more than necessary. So voice broadcasting services
that use VOIP have no choice but to charge their clients the same
way with 30 second or 60 second minimums per connected call.
Also, because VoiP uses the internet to make calls, there can be
"latency"
issues which means the call quality could suffer or even have dropped
calls that have been transfered your office.

increments.
